Workshops for schools

In the LCC FabLab you will find everything you need to build, develop and test something. You don't have to be a professional in all areas.

We have competent staff, which makes it easier for you to get started with new topics. And together it works even better. We conduct workshops with you, you learn what you need and/or are interested in. Below you will find an overview of the workshops. These can either take place at our FabLab, at your school or at your company. And that's not all: You have an idea for a workshop or would like to organize something with us for fellow makers? Then get in touch with us. We are looking forward to it! Together we can do more.

Clothes make the man or do people make the clothes? Together we'll do the coolest workshop on the subject of textiles: give your clothes your own style by printing, plotting and/or embroidering something on them. You are also welcome to start even further ahead and tailor and sew something together yourself.

Not only puzzle, but also build: You build the seven elements of the SOMA cube in a variety of ways, using a wide range of materials, tools and manufacturing technologies. You can then take your finished work home and play puzzles with it with family and friends.

Printing is also possible in 3D. And in our 3D printing workshop you can dive into this world: We've come up with a few ideas that will get you hands-on and turn your work into a one-of-a-kind. You are then welcome to put it up or hang it up in your favorite place.

Without soldering, neither your computer nor your cell phone would work. In our soldering workshop you will not only learn how this works - you will learn it practically on your own project. We have everything you need. Along the way, you will dive into the world of electronics and take your first soldering project home with you at the end.

A computer in mini format: with a wide variety of electrical components such as LEDs, buttons and resistors, you will learn - really without any prior knowledge - how electronics and programming merge together. At the end of the course, you will have developed a reaction game and will be able to compete with your classmates. Or maybe implement your own idea...?

Recycling is important. With us and the Save Nature Group, you can learn how it works with plastics. A bit of theory and a lot of practice: Get on your converted bicycle and chop up discarded yogurt cups. Then you'll get behind the lever of the injection molding machine and shape new things. You'll be surprised at how funky your one-of-a-kind looks. Take it home, show it to others and tell them about your recycling experience!
