Tomorrow's mobility will change dramatically due to digitalization - and you can help shape this change: How will we move in the future? How will we travel? How will we get to work in the future? How will we get our products from Amazon, Zalando or local retailers? With the Autonomous Driving degree program, you will gain expertise in artificial intelligence, sensor and actuator technology, 5G and the like, be close to the real world and be able to help write the mobility history of tomorrow.

You and your project team will go through a complete product development process during your studies. From the initial project idea, through sketches, precise plans and prototypes, to testing in LCC's own test hall. You will get to know the entire product development process and gain important practical experience - also thanks to the external company partners who will support you in your project.

If you're not from Upper Franconia, you might be surprised: Since 2020, autonomous bus shuttles have been driving here through the Shuttle Model Region Upper Franconia. Thanks to global players in the automotive industry like Valeo, Rehau, Dr. Schneider, Brose or Lear, Upper Franconia has become a hotspot for autonomous mobility. The companies are not only conducting research in their development offices and test sites, but directly on the roads - in city traffic, during overtaking maneuvers and when parking in public and private parking lots. That's why Kronach is at the forefront of 5G expansion throughout Germany, as one of the first ten research projects funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport.
