The Lucas Cranach Campus (LCC) is pleased to welcome new members to its team: Prof. Dr. Sophia Frank and Johannes StĂĽbinger are enriching our Kronach campus with their expertise and dedication, transforming it into a center for modern teaching and innovative approaches.

Sophia Frank, who holds a Ph.D. in Business Informatics, has been teaching in the Master’s program in Future Design since the summer semester of 2024 and inspires students with innovative topics such as “Future Skills.” Thanks to the program’s realignment—which she spearheaded alongside Christian Zagel and Johannes Stübinger—the number of new students increased to 34 in the winter semester of 2024/2025. Her goal: to open up new perspectives for people and strengthen the Kronach region.

As director of the bachelor’s program in Applied Digital Transformation—soon to be known as Business Informatics 2.0—Johannes Stübinger emphasizes practical relevance and innovation. With an impressive 65 industry partners, including Google and BMW, as well as a dual study program, he has made the program one of the most popular at Coburg University.

With Prof. Dr. Sophia Frank and Prof. Dr. Johannes StĂĽbinger, the Lucas Cranach Campus is not only gaining outstanding experts but also two individuals who are passionately committed to the Kronach region.
