What is it about?

Welcome to the FabLab at Lucas Cranach Campus—the open workshop for everyone! Whether you want to realize your own projects, learn new techniques, or simply tinker creatively, you've come to the right place. The FabLab is open to everyone from Tuesday to Friday and invites you to build, learn, and discover. Every Wednesday, we offer exciting workshops, and on Thursdays, interested parties meet for our themed get-togethers on topics such as 3D printing, woodworking, art, and more. In the mornings, we regularly hold school workshops where young people can gain practical access to modern technologies. Yes, absolutely! The FabLab is an open workshop for everyone—whether you’re a student, a high school student, an inventor, or a DIY enthusiast from the region.

To get started, all you have to do is register. Before using certain machines and tools, you’ll complete a brief safety briefing on-site at the FabLab.
